Our latest commercial project completed for a high-end apartment development which features a series of custom banquettes designed to deliver comfort, durability, and modern sophistication in shared community spaces.

Our role in this project began when we received the raw banquette structures, ready for upholstery. From there, our team’s job was to bring them to life adding all the final elements that transform a bare frame into polished, professional seating.
Each unit was thoughtfully designed to meet the client’s spatial and aesthetic needs:
Straight Banquette Sections: Each measures 54" wide with a 16" deep seat base (plus 2" of high-density foam for comfort), offering generous seating in linear lounge layouts.
Curved Banquette Section: Custom-shaped to create flow and flexibility in central gathering areas, this piece is especially effective for encouraging conversation and softening architectural lines.
Back Height and Angles: Carefully measured for ergonomic comfort and visual balance, the banquettes offer a supportive upright sit that still feels relaxed.
We paid close attention to the angles, alignment, and transitions between each section, ensuring a smooth and seamless appearance that feels cohesive even across multiple units.

Pre-Upholstery: Where Craftsmanship Counts
Before we apply fabric, our upholstery team performs a detailed inspection and preparation process. This ensures that every surface is smooth, every edge is aligned, and the base structure will support clean, durable upholstery.
While much of our work is invisible once the fabric is applied, these behind-the-scenes steps are essential. It’s this phase—careful padding, lining, shaping, and foam application—that creates the comfort, contour, and quality expected in a luxury setting.
The pre-upholstery phase is also when we collaborate with the designer to confirm fabric selections, finishing details, and any additional commercial requirements, such as fire-retardant treatments or stain-resistant coatings.
